About Amanda :

Amanda is a worship leader. She teaches piano lessons and has a heart to serve Christ where ever he calls. She loves Springer Spaniel dogs, the colors blue and silver, and has the nickname 'Panda'. She is also in love with a crazy Canuck from Canada.

About Ryan :

Ryan is an airline pilot. He is a volunteer pilot for Servant Air Ministries (the Florida chapter of Pilot's for Christ). Ryan also volunteers with various Youth Ministries in Florida. Ryan enjoys basketball, photography, and has the nickname 'Knight'. He is also in love with a special Floridian curly blonde.

How We Met [From Ryan] :

I was flight instructing with Servant Air Ministries. One of my flight students, Katie Welch [now Katie White], suggested that I come to a service at her church. One Saturday in September 2003, one of my students cancelled the last flight of the day, so I decided to attend the 6pm service since it was on the way home.

Arriving that night at church, I met Katie as well as her two friends; Danielle and Amanda. Amanda left shortly after that, and I didn’t think much of it. During service however, I realized that the beautiful pianist playing amazing music to our Lord and King was Amanda.

Later that night, when a bunch of friends went out to the local coffee house, God impressed something on my heart; that Amanda was a very godly woman. Amanda’s sister Daniella thought that I was a good catch, and tried to convince Amanda of this fact. It was not until Amanda read my website [http://www.halozone.com] about how God saved me from death after I broke my neck did Amanda’s heart really start to go pitter-patter. That was when she found out about my true character before ever really knowing me. That was something she had been praying for from God.

God’s dream was born, and the rest is HIStory.
